Borkung Hrangkhawl is an award-winning Artist (VIMA Asia Award) who is a Rapper/Singer/Songwriter from India. He is considered as one of the finest Hip-Hop Artists from the country today. His lyrical abilities and his on-the-spot freestyle rhyme scheming are highly acclaimed by critics and fans altogether.
He has been performing all over the country for a couple of years now and regularly performing at well-known music festivals like NH-7 Shillong, 2015 and NH-7 Pune, 2016. He was also the opening Act for “Hoobastan”, Shillong, 2013, Ziro Music Festival 2015, etc to name a few. He also hosted for Project Alof star Amplified My MTV Asia with Bandviews for India and SEA Bangkok, Singapore, Malaysia.
He has worked with brands like Reebok classic, Nissan, Honda and more. His journey in music and career as an artist took off when he released a single called , ” When I am All Alone” in the early 2007, according to him, this led him to realisation that Rap was his true calling. He was also part of the “DropSquad” an old Hip-Hop group which was signed up by “Times Music” in 2010 during the Nationwide Talent Hunt – Supastarz.
