4 years and counting!
Firstly, a big shout out to all our bands – Indus Creed, Shaa’ir +Func, Scribe, ViceVersa, Whirling Kalapas, Donn Bhat + Passenger Revelator and Junkyard Groove for their continued support, innovation and most importantly the distinct sound each band brings forth at every step. It would have been impossible if not for the unique music you guys produce.
A big thank you to our partners, 2013 saw some interesting collaborations ‘Bournville Not So Sweet Nights’ brand activation with Sony Music. Apple 5S launch along with Wizcraft booking 11 bands across 11 cities in India. Our flagship event South Asians Bands Festival, New Delhi showcased amazing bands from eight SAARC nations – India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka. The festival is organized by Indian Council for Cultural Relations in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and SEHER. Thanks to SEHER, we were fortunate enough to manage a special showcase gig for the President of India, Hon. Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, featuring Strings (Pakistan), Advaita (India), LRB (Bangladesh) at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi. We are super proud and happy to partner with Magnetic Fields Festival in December once again. Wild City’s Magnetic Fields was ‘Festival of the year’ 2013 for all of us at Mixtape and we cannot wait to work on the next edition 🙂 This year Sulafest and Eden Festival were 2 of the biggest projects we successfully completed as productions partners and are grateful to the Sula team and Bhavishyavani Crew for giving us this opportunity. Plans for the 2015 edition are underway and we cannot wait to make it a bigger and better experience for our bands, clients, venues across the country and the audience.
The past year has seen us take many new challenging tasks and create new benchmarks. Huge gratitude goes to everyone in the team.
