This session will give you an understanding of where the industry stands currently, what tools you have at your disposal and what is required outside of writing and recording quality music to be able to consider this as a career choice. The session will be conducted by Anu Anna George from Mixtape an artist management agency that represents acts such as Indus Creed, Monica Dogra, Bhayanak Maut to name a few.

Here’s what Anu has to say: “It is an incredible time to be a part of the independent music industry. There are so many avenues that are constantly opening up for us. We are at a time where we are creating our own systems and creating our own market. We’ve made so much progress in the last couple of years but we have also made a bunch of mistakes along the way. We’ve learned a hell of a lot from these mistakes but we are where we are by testing the varied waters. We want to share what we’ve learned so far. Recruit more people to be a part of our industry and in the long run grow as a collective to have our artists earn recognition on a global scale”
