Our flagship property Soul City saw a brilliant live func disco artist Bruno Belissimo from Italy in October 2016. And in November 2016 we are extremely proud and honored to host one of the legends from UK dance disco funk circuit none other than Bill Brewster! One of the founding residents at fabriclondon, author of Last Night a DJ Saved My Life and editor of DJhistory.com, Bill’s contribution to the world of music is truly inspiring. Originally a chef, football pundit and record collector, Bill began DJing in the late 80s and was based in New York handling DMC’s US Operation. He has been working in the industry’s fringes for almost 30 years including the running of various labels from Twisted UK and Forensic in the ’90s to Disco Sucks and Anorak. Armed with sensitivity and sense of occasion only a few DJs posses, Bill knows how to work the crowd in the best possible way. The DJ, writer and all-round industry insider will perform in 4 cities as a part of SOUL CITY, Mixtape’s night dedicated to soul, funk, and disco music.
